- Break into groups of 3-4 and explore ideas on how to normalize TSA in the field of Social Work across the nation. A few questions to stimulate conversation:
- What are some practical ideas to normalize TSA in the field (e.g., 20-minute presentation at a SW conference, pre-conference Institute to a SW conference, list the conferences out)?
- What are 1-2 bold ideas to normalize TSA in the discipline?
- What is already happening in social work that connects to TSA, which could be used to normalize TSA?
- Large group: What are action items to do to make your ideas a reality? Who will do what?
- Engaging the other 40+ TSA Social Work faculty: Who will contact them?
- In addition to the normalizing TSA across the discipline some key questions for the SW group to consider:
- Updating the SW doc that was created this summer.
- What is unique in teaching social action in Social Work?
