STUDENT SECTION:
Students responded to four questions about their social action experience:
- What was the most exciting and/or interesting thing you did as a part of your social action course? (1 minute)
- What were your group’s most successful Campaign Activities (e.g., flyering, tabling, giving your org rap to student groups, social media, building campus and/or community allies, etc.)
- Did your group get to a Campaign Action (i.e., a public display of power near the decision-maker)?
- If yes, what was the Campaign Action your student team took, and how did it go?
- If not, what prevented your team from getting to a Campaign Action?
- Before your social action class, did you think change was possible? Did your view change because of this class?
- What did your social action course teach you about yourself? About your role in a democracy?
FACULTY SECTION:
The faculty who taught social action this Spring shared the biggest lessons learned about change, democracy, and/or yourself?
