Draft opening placeholder
Once students have launched their first action, the course enters a new phase. The campaign is no longer an idea or a classroom exercise. It has become public. Students have tested their demand, encountered a target or audience, recruited supporters, made mistakes, and learned something about the terrain. The instructor’s task now is to help students turn that experience into a plan.
Campaign planning after the first action is different from planning in the abstract. Students now have evidence. They know more about who responded, who ignored them, what information they still need, and what kind of power they have begun to build. The campaign plan and timeline help them organize that learning into next steps.
Sample final binder structure
