Professional development - keeping up with what's new and timely / getting new ideas that I can incorporate in my classes. As the world changes, so must I.
Not really - I've taught about what social movements are (in sociology courses) but I teach a major social problems class and I would love to be able to develop new strategies to get students authentically engaged in applied social justice movements
Policies aimed at decreasing / confronting / educating about inequality in racial / social class / corporate / criminal / healthcare / environmental / misinformation / and/or educational injustice.
