Course Description:
Introduction to Justice Studies is an interdisciplinary seminar in social analysis which integrates theological and philosophical reflections on justice with the study of specific social and economic problems. Experiential and community-based learning provides opportunities to link theory and practice and reflect systematically on how principled approaches to justice can be made effective in the world. This course is the core course for the Justice Studies minor. As such, it lays the foundation for the other courses in the minor.
