Motivation for Teaching Social Action:

Education needs a component in the teacher and leader preparation where student learners can learn how to identify, address, and eliminate oppression within education institutions, both for student learners and employees, and instead engage with those within education to do good with the privilege.

Course Description:

Using human justice and the Mindful Civility method, students will learn how to identify the civility gaps and oppression opportunities in the education system and how to eliminate the oppression to lead to human justice for all in education.
