
Motivation to Teach Social Action:
I have taught a range of courses in Women and Gender Studies and currently serve as both a mentor and a student. I am interested in learning more about social action initiatives that I can pursue to ensure I am contributing meaningfully and responsibly in these roles.
Course Description:
WGST 201: This course focuses on aspects of womanhood, gender, and sexuality. Through readings, discussion posts, video clips, and writing assignments, this interdisciplinary course will focus on the culture, economics, and politics that enable or disable personal lives.
ENG 102: This course is designed to develop the student's command of language as an instrument of learning and expression, and it focuses on research and writing the documented essay. This course will produce numerous moments of extensive reading and critical thinking in support of writing skills, and for the application of knowledge
