Generating teaching ideas and strategies that are student relatable and have tangible community impact.

Course Description:

This course is embedded in the main course, Social Work Practice with Organizations, Communities and Societies. Understanding Selves, Others, and Our Societies is part of a four-week online intercultural learning opportunity for the students enrolled in the social work course to participate in collaborative learning and social action project with social work students at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. The course connects Sustainable Development Goals.
