Motivation to Teach Social Action:

I need to develop teams for a three-part Campaign for all 50 States coordinated at the National level. Similar to, but more difficult than a Presidential Campaign. Our goal is to add one Amendment to the US Constitution to Limit the time one can serve in U.S. Congress.

Course Description:

This course will guide participants through the process of organizing and executing a grassroots campaign to advocate for term limits for the U.S. Congress. The curriculum will focus on building state teams to achieve three key milestones: calling an Article V Constitutional Amendment Convention, lobbying delegates to draft an effective amendment, and securing the ratification of the amendment by three-fourths of the states. Participants will learn strategies for issue education, petitioning, media engagement, and lobbying, with the ultimate goal of enacting a constitutional amendment limiting congressional terms.
