Motivation to Teach Social Action:
As teaching faculty in the social sciences, this course seems highly complementary to my daily mission. In my classes, we often talk about social change in the abstract, but I'd love to learn more about teaching tangible skills for implementing a desired goal.
Course Description:
Analysis of problems related to: life cycle, sexuality, family disruptions, health, illness, death and dying, addictions, crime, minorities, population, environment, resources and poverty.
Taught By:
Jenna DePasquale
Assistant Teaching Professor
Sociology, Criminology, and Social Work
