Motivation to Teach Social Action:

I would really like to learn more about experiential learning and new techniques to incorporate in my syllabus. Also other ways in which to make the course curriculum more engaging and action driven. Considering that I teach sociology which touches upon so many issues that can benefit from being more action oriented.

Course Description:

My global immigration course I intend to include some action oriented work with people who work in the field. Similarly I would also like to include it in my introductory course
