Motivation to Teach Social Action:
I've incorporated community engaged pedagogies into my courses. I'd like to learn more about strategies and frameworks for incorporating social action as well.
Course Description:
This course is required for students in the McNeill Justice Fellows program at the Institute for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame. The courses introduces students to the process of practical reasoning about social concerns developed by the Catholic Social Tradition, namely the See-Judge-Act method of social analysis and social action. By the end of the course, students develop a statement of purpose and plan of action for their 3-year journey as a McNeill fellow.
