Motivation to Teach Social Action:

I am currently teaching my Public Health Advocacy course. Although the class went really well and many of my students have done a wonderful job with their projects, I feel like I could have helped guide them better. I need more tools and advice to help structure the class to be able for my students to feel rewarded and have their projects visible to those who can make the changes that they are requesting

Course Description:

Public Health Advocacy is designed to introduce students to the art of health advocacy. Students will learn about health activism histories and contemporary issues and tactics, develop essential skills in community organizing, and work on an advocacy campaign.
