Professor Castaneda is interested in helping graduate students learn to present their empirical research work with policy implications for wider audiences. Rather than focusing on individual projects, the course emphasizes class-wide research projects that address immigration policy issues.
Course Description:
For MA students to present their empirical work but rather than focus on individual projects, this would be class-wide projects, with policy implications, for a wide audience. The course integrates social action approaches with research on immigration policy.
