Motivation to Teach Social Action:

Engaging students in macro social work, social justice and policy

Course Description:

Overview of social welfare policy development and methods; programs resulting from these efforts; influence of competing value orientations; exposure to differing models of policy analysis; and implications for professional practice including the role of social work in developing, implementing, and evaluating social programs. PREREQUISITE: SWRK 2010, SWRK 2011, and SWRK 3010.
