Course Description:
This block seminar explores online prevention of hate speech by linking key theories on hate and group-focused hostility with practice-oriented social work strategies for digital advocacy, empowerment, and community organizing in social media. It equips future social workers to support affected communities, intervene in hostile online environments, and actively co-create inclusive, respectful digital spaces that promote inclusion and diversity.
