Motivation to Teach Social Action:
I incorporate social action in my courses, but only theoretically. When I have attempted to include social action oriented activities, I have received backlash from students. I want to learn more about effective pedagogical approaches to designing my courses so that students engage in the learning and contribute to social action in public health contexts. I am looking forward to learning from my peers and the instructors of this program.
Course Description:
A “health in all policies” approach to the relationship between public policies, advocacy and population health outcomes.
