Motivation to Teach Social Action:

Looking to build a course for an upcoming new interdisciplinary major combining history and political science (Name is yet to be decided). A course of this nature would serve as a required capstone practicum.

Course Description:

This course serves as a required senior level experiential learning component of the interdisciplinary History, Public Policy and Political Science major. Students examine historical case studies of social movements and democratic reform while also engaging in community-based projects, public history initiatives, internships or civic partnerships.
