Motivation to Teach Social Action:

I want to learn and incorporate social action in my pedagogy. In a world of intensifying climate change where socially disadvantaged groups get disproportionately impacted, learning how to identify and collaborate for a cause is an empowering tool that I want my future students to have.

Course Description:

Through a comparative study, the course examines climate adaptation programs by governments, non-governmental organizations, and grassroots movements and how communities claim their rights in this process.
