Status: Won first 2 demands
Students for Racial Equality won the first demand after they held a press conference and rally. They won their second demand after they held a sit-in in the first-floor lobby where the President’s office was located. The students did not want to be arrested for occupying this space, so they asked, and received permission from the President’s office to occupy it for several hours.
