- Demand 1: Student's for Daniel's Law demands that the University of Rochester train and staff the Counselors in Residence (CIR) Program with 3 peer advocates with lived mental health experience, trained to safely support student interactions – $5,000 for course implementation.
- Demand 2: Students for Daniel's Law demands that the University of Rochester publish a publicly accessible, step-by-step mental health crisis response protocol aligned with Daniel's Law to be easily found on University websites (UCC, Department of Public Safety), and distribute it at the beginning of the school year to all students and staff through orientation materials and digital communication – $500 (flyers, update website).
