- We recommend that this bill should include:
- Standardized implementation across districts by establishing clear statewide guidelines for provider approval, timelines, and service coordination to reduce both inconsistency and inequity.
- Required interdisciplinary collaboration that includes communication, shared planing, and defined roles between schools and providers to improve effectiveness of services.
- Strengthened equity and access through expanding funding, partnerships, and monitoring to ensure that students benefit equally.
- Accountability and evaluation measures by requiring data/progress tracking, annual reporting, and review to assess outcomes and ensure effectiveness over time.
