Meeting the Educational Needs of Future Climate Educators at University of Michigan

Demands

  • We demand the School for Environment and Sustainability and the Marsal Family School of Education at the University of Michigan do the following by the end of the 2025-2026 school year
  • Cross-list climate education courses between the two schools, allowing easier registration and credit counting for students in both schools
  • Schedule at least one three credit course per school year that is co-taught by instructors in both schools
  • Implement a dual-degree program between the schools for students who want to become formal climate educators
