Demands
- Demand 1: "Prime 75" Non-Residential dining plan for all contracted cadets. Gives cadets around 4 free meals a week.
- Demand 2: "Prime 48" Non-Residential dining plan for all contracted cadets (Juniors-seniors). Gives cadets around 1-2 free meals a week.
- Demand 3: If meal plans are not an option we are requesting a new category built in under the WVU Leadership Scholarship (not the leadership studies program). Its a $500 a year scholarship to help offset the cost of food - would cover "Prime 20" meal plan.

Advice on Demands & Target
- Keep it to 1–3 demands. Right now you have 3, but Demand 1 and 2 overlap. Consider combining into one clear meal-plan demand, and keep the scholarship idea as a second demand only if it is truly necessary.
- Make each demand a single sentence with a yes/no decision. Use the format: “Feed the Troops demands that (specific decision) by (date/term), at a cost of $X.”
- Add the cost and who pays. If the cost is unknown, put $TBD and treat “get cost estimate” as an early campaign step.
- Define the population precisely. “Contracted cadets” is promising, but confirm the official term WVU uses and whether it includes all class years.
- Remove extra explanation from the demand. Put your reasoning (why it matters, impact on cadets, etc.) in a separate paragraph or section, not in the demand sentence.
Cleaner demand options (examples, not final):
- Option A (one demand): “Feed the Troops demands that WVU Hospitality provide a Prime 48 (non-residential) meal plan at no cost to all contracted cadets beginning Fall 2026, at a cost of $TBD.”
- Option B (two demands):
- “Feed the Troops demands that WVU Hospitality provide a Prime 48 (non-residential) meal plan at no cost to all contracted cadets beginning Fall 2026, at a cost of $TBD.”
- “Feed the Troops demands that WVU create a $500 per year ‘Food Support’ scholarship category under the WVU Leadership Scholarship for contracted cadets beginning Fall 2026, at a cost of $TBD.”
- Confirm the lowest-level decision maker who can say yes. If the VP of Operations cannot change meal plan eligibility/pricing, the correct target may be a Dining Director, auxiliary services lead, contract manager, or finance approver.
- Name + title + unit. List the primary target first, then add a secondary target only if needed.
- If the target is a board/committee, name the key members you need for a majority and start with the member most likely to support you.
Target format example:
- Primary target: Darius Peacock, Vice President of Operations, WVU Hospitality Group (if this role controls meal plan eligibility/pricing)
- Secondary (if needed): [Name], [Title], WVU [Office]
