Demands
- College Students for Gun Change demands that New York State lower the capacity of magazine rounds for a semiautomatic weapon from 10 to 5.
- College Students for Gun Change demands that if gun shops sell magazines with more than 5 rounds for semiautomatic weapons, they will be fined $1,000 or shut down for 6 months. New York State Police will enforce this. The money collected from fines will be used to manufacture smaller magazines.
- College Students for Gun Change demands that citizens who own a 10-round magazine for semiautomatic weapons must hand them in to the State Police. Those who hand in the 10-round magazines will be rewarded with a new 5-round magazine and a tax credit.
