Co-Curricular Workshop Description:
I work in the Office of Community Engagement and Civic Learning at GMU and our office was developed due to the university's Quality Enhancement Plan "Transformative Education through Anti-Racist Community Engagement". Thus, a social action course or workshop series would be very beneficial for our mission. We have been looking in particular to develop opportunities for a wider audience or to help faculty on campus do this.
