Course Description:

These would emerge conversations with the students and their interests as well as from a survey I would conduct of community needs and opportunities, both within the college and the larger community. In the past, I've had summer scholars help in a project I was involved with to incubate a climate action non-profit, so I have a general sense of folks I need to network with. Our area has some of the poorest air in the country, so there's an issue. We also have a robust communtiy non-profit doing conservation work, so that is one possible partner to seed a campaign with, to give it a more secure home outside of the college.
