Call notes
WAS ACCEPTED. Hi Scott,Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in the Teaching Social Action workshops at the University of Michigan this year. The course I was wanting to integrate with the social action curriculum "Social Spaces" will not be available for me to teach in the foreseeable future. Part of the reason I will not be able to teach this course is that faculty members with seniority and experience teaching this course will be assigned this course rather than me. I honestly would only like to participate if I had the ability to actually incorporate these tools and strategies into a course I knew I was able to teach. I do not want to just "go through the motions" and not employ the social action
curriculum directly to a course.If
I do stick around at U of M and have the ability to fully take part I
will gladly sign up again for the Teaching Social Action workshops. All the best,Nathan Byrne
