Engagement Description

Biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation and mitigation, true cost accounting, Human rights approach to food, health and the environment.

Experience

I will not claim I have taught social action in classroom directly. However, I have brought social action into my classes through discussions, case studies and team assignments/ interactive exercises with the topics of biodiversity conservation and climate action for climate justice.

Interest

People become active participants in governance and public policy processes if they have a clear understanding of the impacts of these processes, and policies. I am interested to learn from existing pedagogy for social action. I am curious to learn from the experiences of co-participants in the program and share my experience in social action gained through environmental work with NGOs, international development organizations, start-ups and other institutions during this course development program.

How did you hear about opportunity

Through NWAE sustainable agriculture network.
