In Solidarity: Social Action for Social Change

Course Description:

In this course, students will learn the origins, leading theories, and current trends in social movements and social action. This course will highlight the emergent strategies of embodying social action through community relationship building, collective efficacy, and actionable intentions. The guiding principles in this class will focus on experiential concepts in social action--meaning we will not just learn about social action, but will practice it.
