Course Description:
How does social change happen? How can I participate in creating a more just and humane world? This course will examine social change methods in the context of understanding human behavior and engage students in reflecting on their civic engagement experiences, engaging with community members who are working for social justice, and developing a proposal for a social justice project. The course will cover social change methods such as community-based action research, community organizing, policy development, philanthropy and accompaniment.
