Course Description:
This course will prepare you for the Community Engagement Scholars program, introduce you to civic engagement skills, provide skills for mapping out a four-year academic and co-curricular plan for your time as a UD student, and prepare you for a life of engaged citizenship. Provides an opportunity for students to think critically about engagement while considering their own definitions of community and civic engagement, the various ways engagement is practiced, civic engagement on a local level, and how they can incorporate civic engagement into their academic and co-curricular studies.
