Course Description:

Communities in Action is designed to prepare students to be informed and active participants in the process of community building and social change. This course focuses on individuals, groups, institutions and how they interact. Utilizing qualitative methods such as ethnographic observation and interviewing, students will be able to identify, critically analyze, and develop projects that address social change.
