Motivation to Teach Social Action:
I've always had an interest in social action; I've taught several community-engagement courses when students work with a community partner, but I'd like to more explicitly engage students in activism. I'd love to develop a new course that focuses specifically on communication for social change.
Course Description:
Students will study existing social advocacy campaigns and design/implement their own communication campaigns for social change.
