Motivation for Teaching Social Action:

I am teaching a part 2 of a social welfare policy course and I want the course to include components and content that requires them to do more. I believe that helps experiential learners.

Course Description:

The course is devoted to policy practice and advocacy skills needed to work toward social change. The course covers the context of social policies developed in the legislature, the agency, the community, and global settings. The course focuses on the tasks and skills of a policy advocate and the framework for analyzing the role of the policy practitioner.
