Motivation to Teach Social Action:
I am developing elective courses on this topic
Course Description:
The course is not fully developed yet, however, it will be something along the lines of providing undergraduate human services majors with a comprehensive understanding of social action, activism, advocacy, resistance, and organizing through the lens of cultural and historically marginalized groups. Students will explore theoretical foundations and practical applications through storytelling, photovoice, and speakers' series from activists in local communities.
