Community Engagement Projects (3 groups)
Fall 2022
This semester groups will be working with Hope Hollow (HH), LifeCare Alliance (LCA), and Dublin Veterans Committee (DVC). One group will be working with HH on a fund-raising initiative. Along with a point of contact they will plan and undertake a small-scale fundraiser, or publicity project, using a template and materials provided by the organization. One group will be working with LCA on a program to provide the elderly with pet food and supplies. Along with a point of contact they will research the needs of the target community and support the existing program with an intent to improve it. One group will be working with DVC on a research project. Along with a point of contact they will research veterans laid to rest in the Dublin Cemetery to discover their stories and the research will be used by the community partner to memorialize those who have made sacrifices.
