Course Description:
The ‘Green Leadership’ course aims to highlight that everyone can be a leader when it comes to making a difference in the world. It will cover topics such as:
- Understanding sustainability; specifically the SDGs and what they mean to learners as an individual through contextual analysis
- Considerations for ethical decision making, including carbon literacy training
- Stakeholder identification (and management)
- Working collaboratively and authentic leadership in social action
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Some elements of marketing and fundraising (using negotiating and influencing skills)
- Governance for establishing community groups to make a difference
