Green Leadership – Living an Ethical Life for You and the World

Course Description:

The ‘Green Leadership’ course aims to highlight that everyone can be a leader when it comes to making a difference in the world. It will cover topics such as:

  • Understanding sustainability; specifically the SDGs and what they mean to learners as an individual through contextual analysis
  • Considerations for ethical decision making, including carbon literacy training
  • Stakeholder identification (and management)
  • Working collaboratively and authentic leadership in social action
  • Negotiating and influencing skills
  • Some elements of marketing and fundraising (using negotiating and influencing skills)
  • Governance for establishing community groups to make a difference
