Demands

  1. Increased investigative authority for the Independent Police Auditor (IPA);
  2. Grant unfettered and direct access to all evidence;
  3. Increase funding for IPA to create an investigative arm and hire investigators.

3/22/2023—Students for Police Accountability held several campaign actions, including several target meetings with City Council members, and a stakeholder meeting with the IPA Director. However, the City voted 8-1 against an increased role of the IPA.
