Students for DMH

Demand

Students for DMH demands the installation of air conditioning into every classroom and office in Dudley Moorhead Hall at the cost of $3 million.

Target

President Don Kassing and then the next President, Susan Martin

Status: Won

3/21/24 — After a one-year campaign, Students for DMH won their demand to install AC in one of the oldest buildings on campus, and that served over 3,000 students a day. Temperatures would rise to over 90 degrees and 3 students had fainted in the building. One of the most powerful campaign actions that the students held was a “faint-in”, which was covered extensively in the press.
