Demand

  1. We demand that the city of San Jose stop all sweeps of homeless encampments that are in violation of their own abatement policy.
  2. We demand the city of San Jose to stop the construction of the dog park at the corner of Asbury and Spring St!
  3. We demand to stop Mahan encampment ban!

3.20.24 — The students started the campaign in Spring of 2023, and led several campaign actions. The student-wing of the campaign is inactive; however, the Community Homeless Alliance Ministry, the students’ allies, continue to fight against the sweeps.
