Course Description:
This course explores the principles and practices of social action, equipping students with the tools and knowledge to identify, analyze, and address social issues in their communities. It emphasizes fostering a sense of responsibility, leadership, and collaboration to create meaningful change.
Through interactive sessions, case studies, and hands-on projects, students will learn to design and implement social action initiatives that address real-world challenges. Topics include understanding social issues, community mobilization, project management, and reflective practices. The course integrates theoretical frameworks such as Participatory Action Research (PAR) and Design Thinking for Social Innovation to bridge academic concepts with practical application.
By the end of the course, students will have the skills and confidence to lead impactful projects, promote sustainable development, and inspire others to contribute to the well-being of their communities.
